BNECL is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join its team in the capacity of Automation and Controls Engineer.
JOB SUMMARY
The incumbent will be responsible for the management of all electrical, automated control and SCADA systems within the BNECL locations; and provides project management support and technical leadership for special projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide comprehensive management and oversight of all electrical, automated control, and SCADA systems.
- Manage special projects, offering technical leadership and ensuring successful project planning, implementation, and completion.
- Plan, manage, and oversee equipment installations and upgrades as required.
- Assist with the management of terminal operations as required
- Manage the department’s key performance indicators to ensure timely completion of targets
- Prepare budgets for upcoming financial year and execute works as per approved budget.
- Monitor and prepare reports for the CMMS system to ensure compliance to the department’s objectives
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with controls experience
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a process, production or manufacturing plant environment in a supervisory position
- Technical background in programmable logic controllers, industrial automation, controls and their software
- Experience in industrial electrical and mechanical equipment repair and maintenance would be an asset.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
