The Barbados National Energy Company Limited (BNECL) formerly Barbados National Oilfield Services Limited (BNOSL) owns and operates oilfields in Woodbourne, St. Philip. BNECL utilises gravel packing as a primary means of sand control in producing reservoirs. Open-ended fracture stimulations and fracpacks are also performed as warranted. Cementations are performed as part of the plug back and abandonment of depleted wells.
The Barbados National Energy Company Limited (BNECL) therefore invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit proposals for the provision of Sand Control and Remedial Cementing Services for its operations within the Woodbourne Development Area.
The scope of works includes:
• Gravel packing and fracture stimulation services
• Cementing services
• Provision all required equipment, tools, chemicals, and certified IADC (International Association of Drilling Contractors) or IWCF (International Well Control Forum) Well Control Certification of personnel to perform operations in accordance with API (American Petroleum Institute )standards and BNECL’s HSSE and Quality Management requirements.
