Are you ready to ignite your future in energy?
Our Internship Programme at the Barbados National Energy Company Limited (BNECL) is a work-based learning experience designed to equip students and recent graduates with practical, hands-on exposure in their field of study or desired career path.

This is more than just an internship — it’s a chance to explore the energy sector, gain real-world experience
and contribute to national development through impactful work.

WHO CAN APPLY?
We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals who are:

Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a bachelor’s degree programme at an accredited university
Available to work full-time for four months (May to August intake)
Strong team players with a willingness to learn and grow
Interested students from tertiary institutions- (6th Forms, BCC or SJPI) are also encouraged to apply, depending on available placements

WHEN TO APPLY?
Applications open on April 1, 2026 and close on April 30, 2026.
